FAQ

 I made an enquiry, but received no reply? 
Sometimes emails do go missing. Can we start again?

 Will you hold my booking while you wait for the deposit? 
 Yes. But if there is any significant delay, we will get back to the clients, especially if we have any enquiry for the same week.

 What time is check in/check out? 
 Check-out is before the new guests arrive, which varies.  There needs to be time for complete clean and change over.

 Do you have smoke detectors? 
 Yes, on each floor.

 Does the villa have an alarm? 
 No. We have not fitted an alarm as there are a few short power cuts in the summer.

 If I break something, will I Iose my deposit? 
  No. There are several china shops in Kalkan, and we would hope that you would replace any broken plates or glasses. Otherwise, if there was considerable damage, we would retain the cost of repair and then return the balance of the deposit.

  Will I find cleaning materials in the house? 
  Yes. There are cleaning materials in the cupboard in the downstairs loo.

 Can I use the phone and WIFI? 
 Yes, we provide a mobile phone for guests’ use, as using their own phone is very expensive. WIFI as well as TV with Digiturk are also provided with our compliments. We also provide a DVD player, as well as an MP3 player with Bose speakers.

 Are linen and towels provided? 
 Yes. All bed linen and towels are provided, including separate towels for the pool area. These are all changed weekly.We ask that no bathroom towels are used around the pool.

 Do you provide anything for infants in the villa? 
 We can provide a high chair and cot. Please give notice at time of booking.

 Is there a hairdryer? 
 Yes, we provide a hairdryer for each bedroom. We also provide a rechargeable torch for each floor of the villa.

 Is there air conditioning/heating? 
 Yes. There are split units in the living room and each bedroom. These can heat or chill.

 I have only booked for four people. Can I invite some friends to stay with us? 
If there are four or less guests, and we agree a discount, then we would lock the two bedrooms on the top floor.  In high season (July and August), we expect to rent the whole villa.

 Can we use the barbeque? 
 Yes. But we do not provide charcoal or firelighters.

 Do I need to clean the pool or tend the garden? 
 No. Irfan comes daily to clean the pool and tend the garden and pots. He hoses down the terrace all around the villa. No need for guests to lift a finger.

 Is there car parking? 
 There is ample car parking in the lane outside the villa, which is very quiet.

 Is the villa/pool private? 
  Yes

 How near is the beach? 
 The Beach Club is 3 minutes walk from the villa, as is the water taxi to town.

 Do you have any other properties for rent? 
 No. This is a privately owned villa, with the owners staying at least once per year.
